I love these boots. The cut and style look great. The leather is perfect and durable. It’s more of a soft finish so it’ll change colors when brushed in different directions but it has a rich color. Footbed is extremely comfortable. Very soft for a boot (not a tennis shoe but for a functional boot). I have wide feet and wear and 8 in other ankle height Clark boots I have (and Under Armour, Born, etc.) but these actually seem to run wider naturally in the foot and shaft. The foot fits great but (st 15” calves) the shaft is lose By a good inch-2 inches, though they still look good on. The problem is the ankles are equally too large and bunched up enough to rub my ankle bones through my socks and irritate them. I’m not looking for bunching around the ankles so I’m sending them back, sadly. If the shaft fit more securely I don’t think I’d have the problem around my ankles.
