Sorel brand boots comes narrow. For size 6.5- 7 wide feet--> size 8 sorel boots fit perfect. I buy a good dr Scholls arch support ( Dr. Scholl's Comfort Tri-Comfort )added to bottom plus a pair of thick socks covering ankles and right under shin area. I can walk all day for 10 hours at a time and come home with happy feet!!If I don't put on socks covering below shin area it will get cut, red and bruised by rubbing from walking in boots all day. The top of boots is good strong leather material that will hold up it's shape. I am glad thick socks can solve this problem. Also because it is real leather, it stretches over time and fit my feet better. I am also impressed by how much air my feet gets; never stinky or sweaty after all day.My job requires me to be walking all day and be able to reach higher then my height these boots are essential "gear" for me. I have 5 pairs of sorel Joan of arch boots.They are adorable. Great heel height. But alas, they were too tight across the top of my foot. Like too tight there is no way the leather would stretch out enough. I had enough room in the toe box. I don't know if a bigger width would be better, but that isn't offered. Very bery sadI am very pleased with these boots! They are so comfortable and look good with different styles of outfits. All I should say is that if you have wide feet these are not for you. Mine are narrow and they are a bit tight and I don’t think they will stretch much. If you do get them use thin socks!These shoes are nice, but awkward to get your foot in. They feel narrow to me. I ordered a 1/2 size bigger and still feel tight. They are stiff too so maybe they will loosen up and be easier to wear. I got on sale so I kept. I wouldn't pay full price for theseI wear these to work and stepping out in denim, you can dress them up or down....warm too.....I love these! So beautiful, comfy foot bed. They do need a little time to break in. A little tight across the top of the foot. Definitely no thick socks. And I love that they make no sound on the floor!I bought these as a gift for my daughter who has a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable. These boots fit her perfectly and they are so comfortable!!!I absolutely love these boots!I don’t dislike anything about the bootsToo small comparing to the standard measures.
